He is a seasoned
administrator and technocrat. He had a very meritorious public
service career before going into an equally fulfilling private
business with interests in banking, construction, and oil and
healthcare. His public service career saw him in service as
Under-Secretary in the Ministry of Industries from 1962 - 1965
(including a period of attachment to the World Bank, Washington, D.C)
and at various times Deputy Permanent Secretary and Permanent
Secretary at the ministries of Industries, Finance, Trade and
Defence.
